Privacy Commitment: VocabClash is committed to transparent data stewardship. We only collect minimal account and gameplay data necessary to maintain your competitive ranking, study statistics, and cloud synchronization.
When you register or sign in, we process basic profile credentials such as your email address, display name, profile avatar, and chosen target exam category. During gameplay, we store match history, League Points (LP), win streaks, accuracy metrics, and vocabulary items saved to your Mistake Vault.
Your data is used strictly to power core gameplay: calculating leaderboard rankings, synchronizing progress across devices, matching opponents with similar skill ratings, providing personalized root-word review via AI Tutor, and maintaining account security.

All communications between the app and backend services are encrypted via SSL/TLS. Your data is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Infrastructure and retained only as long as your account remains active.
Under Google Play Data Safety guidelines, you have the full right to delete your account and all associated Firestore records. You can initiate this at any time in the app (Profile → Legal & Account → Delete Account) or online at /delete-account.html.
